PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type rice transplanting mechanism in a rice transplanter with improved transplanting operability without generating floating seedlings provided with a partial acceleration section part for accelerating the rotation speed of a seedling transplanting shaft to the rotation speed faster than the rotation speed in a deceleration section. ;SOLUTION: Among a sun gear, a planetary gear 21 and an intermediate gear 20 or among a second intermediate gear 20 and the planetary gear 21, the partial acceleration section part for tentatively accelerating the rotation speed in the seedling transplanting shaft 15 to the rotation speed faster than the rotation speed in the deceleration section is formed on a phase position when a division pawl 17 approaches a field surface 33 in the deceleration section where respective seedling transplanting bodies 16 are lowered to the field surface 33. Also, it is preferable that a motion track 22 at the tip of the division pawl 17 is turned to an almost elliptic shape long in a vertical direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
