PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ceiling suspended air conditioning equipment capable of being easily constructed, and its construction method. SOLUTION: Ceiling suspended air conditioning equipment is adapted such that a blowoff outlet 1e of a ceiling suspended air conditioner 1 suspended in an upper space of a light-duty ceiling A and a blowoff outlet frame 2 facing a light-duty opening C are connected with each other through a heat insulating expandable flexible duct 3 having a substantially similar cross sectional shape to that of the blowoff outlet frame 2. Further, the expandable flexible duct 3 is mounted on the blowoff outlet 1e of the ceiling suspended air conditioning equipment 1 in its state where it is previously contracted longitudinally thereof, and the ceiling suspended air conditioner 1 is suspended and mounted in the upper space of the light-duty ceiling A, and then the flexible duct 3 is extended and is connected with the blowoff outlet frame 2 of the light-duty ceiling opening C.
