MAGIC T AND 180-DEGREE HYBRID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the magic T in which multiple reflection at a coupling line section is reduced by forming a strip conductor to be a stepwise shape having a discontinuous part at a block border. ;SOLUTION: A coupling line 120 is arranged closely to two strip conductors 11, 12 in the magic T, the two strip conductors 11, 12 are branched at one branch part 160 of the coupling line 120 opposite to each other to form a non- coupling line 140 respectively. In this case, the distance of the two two strip conductors 11, 12 and the width of the respective strip conductors 11, 12 are changed along with the coupling line 120. Thus, a coupling coefficient between electromagnetic waves propagated through the two strip conductors 11, 12 is changed along with the coupling line 120 to obtain the magic T suitable for a broadcast band distributer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
