PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system which can supply light collimated very much in two orthogonal planes by providing a means which collimates emitted light in a y-z plane for a system which extracts light propagated in an (x) direction from a light source to a (z) direction and collimates it in an x-z plane. SOLUTION: The light source 1 is surrounded with a reflecting means 2, which reflects its emitted light beam to the (x) direction, to its overall length, and a waveguide 3 which propagates the light beams in (x) direction is placed at the exit of the light source 1. The waveguide 3 has a prism structure 4 for mirror surface reflection for propagating the light beam in the (z) direction at its lower part, and the end surface on the opposite side from the end surface where the light is received is covered with a reflecting material 5. Then a collimation means 6 which collimates the light beam emitted to the y-z plane is provided on the opposite side of the waveguide 3 having the microprism structure 4. Therefore, the light 7 which is obtained from the waveguide 3 by the mirror surface reflection and already collimated in the x-z plane is collimated by the collimation means 6 in the y-z plane.
