COPPER TAPE SHIELDING LAYER GROUNDING CLAMP FOR HIGH-TENSION POWER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to ground a metallic shielding layer of a cable stably over a long time by installing a C-shaped plate-like clamp member which has a ground line connected to its outer surface and which has a resiliency and forming a conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive layer including silver powder or silver-plated copper powder on the inner face of the clamp member. ;SOLUTION: A plate-like clamp member 5 which has a C-shaped cross section and is made of phosphor bronze or other material is processed into a circular shape which has a little smaller diameter than the outer diameter of a copper tape shielding layer 3. At the center 5b of the inner face of the plate-like clamp member 5 at the opposite side of an opening 5a of the member 5, a conductive pressure sensitive adhesive which is made by dispersing silver powder which has a stable conductivity as a conductive filler in a polyisobuthylene pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied to form a conductive pressure sensitive adhesive layer 8. Since the conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 8 is kept airtightly adhered to the metallic shielding layer 3 at all times by a tightening force due to a resiliency of the plate-like clamp member 5 and outside air is shielded by a surrounding area of the conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 8, the plate-like clamp can have a stable conductivity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
