PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive force from acting on a hip joint by keeping the locus of the support point of a thigh on a crotch rest in agreement to the locus of the crotch rest at the time of transition from a close-leg posture to an open-leg posture. ;SOLUTION: A crotch rest 8 laid forward of a collapsible seat back 2 for supporting the lower side of a thigh forms a guide rail 5 to a curvature having a shape suitable for the expansion of thighs, and a slide block 7 is provided on the crotch rest 8 for slidable motion on the guide rail 5. Also, the passive member 10 of the slide block 7 is actuated with a positive push arm 12 and a negative push arm 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
