PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically apply powdery parting agent onto a cavity, to improve the quality of a cast product by evacuating the cavity and to shorten the casting cycle time. ;SOLUTION: In a coating process of parting agent, the powdery parting agent in a powdery storing source is supplied into the cavity C through a powder discharging passage 20, change-over flow passage 13 and molten metal supplying way 11 by reducing the pressure in the cavity C communicating a powder sucking passage 22 with the cavity C. In an evacuating process, the powder sucking passage 22 is shut off and a vacuum source P is communicated with the cavity C through an evacuating passage 21, the change-over flow passage 13 and the molten metal supplying way 11 to keep the cavity C in the vacuum state. In an injection process, the molten metal supplying way 11 and the change-over flow passage 13 are shut off and also, the molten metal supplying way 11 and a sleeve 3 are communicated and the molten metal in the sleeve 8 is injected toward the cavity C in the vacuum state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
