PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake sensor which can be installed near an operator and which is suitable for always confirming the operator's mental attitude toward an earthquake and to provide an earthquake sensor-connected leakage breaker apparatus which cuts off an indoor interconnection when an earthquake is generated and which prevents an accident due to electricity or the generation of a fire. ;SOLUTION: The earthquake sensor is provided with a conductive shaft 1, with a rocking part 2 which is supported by the shaft, which is rocked freely, which is conductive and which is substantially umbrella-shaped and with display parts 3a, 3b,... which are insulated from the shaft and the rocking part, which are conductive, in which detection points 31, 32,... are arranged at equal intervals and which correspond to the respective detection points, and it is composed of a detection part 3 which detects the contact of the rocking part 2. Then, the earthquake sensor-connected leakage breaker apparatus in which the earthquake sensor is connected to an earth-leakage breaker 5 which can detect the direction of a rocking operation at the initial stage of the detection of the rocking operation and which is arranged and installed at an indoor interconnection cuts off the leakage breaker when the rocking part 2 comes into contact with the detection part 3.
