PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a magnetic card from being forget or altered by forming a magnetic layer of the magnetic card of a first magnetic body recording secret data and a second magnetic body recording shielding data. SOLUTION: A magnetic card is formed out of a highly coercive recording medium constituted of barium ferrite on a base layer, and a magnetic body which initially has a low coercive force and increases the coercive force greatly once exposed to a magnetic field. When the insertion of the magnetic card is detected, a control part 41 drives a transfer mechanism 43 by a driver 44 to transfer the magnetic card, and a read head 35 starts to read. A recording track is constituted of a mixture of an S magnetic body and a highly coercive recording magnetic body. High frequency noise data and issuance data to be kept secret are multi-recorded to the S magnetic body and highly coercive recording medium respectively to be read out in a superimposed state. The magnetic card is prevented from being forged or altered if the magnetic card is recorded/read out by the thus-constituted magnetic card-processing apparatus and magnetic card-processing method.
