PURPOSE: To obtain a rainfall sensor having no possibility of disconnection of cable. ;CONSTITUTION: The rainfall sensor 3 comprises a light projecting section 4 and a light receiving section 5 fixed to the upper surface of a metal base 21 at the opposite ends thereof. A circuit board is set in a recess made on the rear side of the base 21. A cable 22 is inserted in the longitudinal direction into the recess from the open end of the base 21 and connected with the circuit board substantially in the center of the base 21. The recess is filled with resin in order to mold the circuit board and the cable 22 integrally under connected condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
