DUCT ARRAY OF ROTOR AND STATOR FOR SQUIRREL-CAGE THREE-PHASE INDUCTION MOTOR

PURPOSE: To make the cooling effect uniform by broadening the interval between ventilating spacers of a rotor core and a stator core at an inlet end side and narrowing it toward an output end side. ;CONSTITUTION: The laminating thickness of silicon steel plates disposed between ventilating gaps 33₁ and 33_n and between 39₁ and 39_n of a stator and a rotor and the ventilating gap of the stator, the ventilating gap of the rotor are regulated. The mounting position and the gap are broadened at the inlet end side and narrowed at the output end side. Thus, the temperature of cooling air passing the gap between the spacers is sequentially raised from the inlet side of the cooling air to the outlet side, and the cooling efficiency is lowered. The cooling efficiencies of the inlet side, outlet side and intermediate part can be made uniform in response to it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
