PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial lung device with a pressure control valve which can make the pressure inside a blood saving tank lower than that of the outside by operating a suction device and keep the negative pressure constant in this condition without affected by blood sucking condition of a suction tube for endocardial blood when blood is sucked. ;SOLUTION: This artificial lung device has a blood saving tank 10, a pressure control valve 4, and an artificial lung 3. The pressure control valve 4 has a pressure sensor valve mechanism, which consists of a pressure sensing movable diaphragm and a valve body fixed to it. When a suction means 6 is operated, the movable diaphragm divides the space inside the housing into the upper and the lower rooms. This diaphragm is stable when the pressure in the lower room is higher than a prescribed figure. But when the pressure in the lower room is lower than the prescribed figure, the diaphragm is deformed by the difference of the pressures between the upper/lower rooms, and the valve moves, and the pressure in the lower room increases.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
