PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device which is constructed small and portably and can be lighted automatically with vibration caused by an earthquake, by equipping it with a vibratory switch to be put in electric continuity with a vibration input. ;SOLUTION: A circuit switch 3 is set in the emergency position. When a vibratory switch 4 is put in electric continuity even momentarily with vibration of an earthquake, a current from a battery 1 flows to a relay 5 so that the relay contacts are made. One of the relay contacts leads the current to the coils of itself so that the relay operation is held on. The other contact leads the current from the battery 1 to a lamp 2 to light it. When it is put off, setting can be generated by turning the switch 3 on the OFF position. This may be accomplished even with an IC logic circuit fitted with an OR circuit 8 and an AND circuit 9, and in this case, the construction can be made smaller.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
