METHOD FOR ENLARGING IN BRIGHT ROOM AND PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER FOR ENLARGING IN BRIGHT ROOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a photograph under bright room light by using an enlarger provided with a light source having light quantity equal to or above specified value. ;SOLUTION: The enlarger provided with the light source having the light quantity ≥50lux when a distance to the light source is 1m on a plane to be focused is used. A quartz lamp, a halogen lamp, and a blue or violet fluorescent lamp are mentinoed as the light source and the quantity of ultraviolet rays is needed to some extent. An incandescent lamp type one such as the quartz lamp or the halogen lamp needs at least ≥250W, desirably, ≥500W. Since the photographic paper for enlarging in a bright room is photosensitive material, the balance of the wavelength and the light quantity of the light source and a safelight for exposure is needed. Therefore, in the case of exposure, the light of short wavelength ≤400nm is used, and the light of long wavelength ≥420nm is used in the safelight. Since the sensitivity is made lower than that of ordinary photographic paper, fogging is not caused even when some sunlight or ordinary room light is leaked, and perfect dark room is not needed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
