PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for feeding smoothly a plurality of mat seedlings placed in vertical rows on a seedling mount. ;SOLUTION: This seedling feeder has, inside longitudinal ribs 16, a side feed unit 15 composed of a plurality of rollers 17 and interlock means 18 for driving the rollers in interlock with the feed of the seedlings which means are located inside, and protruded on the right and left sides of the ribs 16 so that their periphery comes to contact with the side of the mat seedlings 9 on the seedling mount, thus moving the side feed unit 15 in the mat seedling feed direction in interlock with downward movement of the mat seedlings accompanying the planting work.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
