METHOD FOR REMODELING EXISTING COMMON DUCT IN COLLECTIVE HOUSING INTO AIR SUPPLY-EXHAUST EQUIPMENT FOR FF-TYPE BURNING APPLIANCE

PURPOSE: To separate air supply and exhaust without making modifications to an existing common duct of a collective housing and to enable use of a burning appliance of high capacity by a method wherein an air supply duct and an exhaust duct are inserted from the top inside the existing common duct and connected to an FF type burning appliance through temporary air supply and exhaust ports on each floor. ;CONSTITUTION: The air flowing in from an air supply duct 1 is supplied for burning through an air supply pipe 4 of a burning appliance 3 on each floor and an exhaust is wholly gathered into an exhaust duct 2 from an exhaust pipe 5 and released outside a building. In another way, the air flowing in from the air supply duct 1 is supplied for burning wholly through the air supply pipe 4 of the burning appliance 3 on each floor and the exhaust is released outside the building directly through an existing U duct. In still another way, the air in the existing U duct is introduced into the burning appliance 3 through the air supply pipe 4 and the exhaust is released outside the building from the exhaust pipe 5 through the exhaust duct 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
