LEAF STEAMING MACHINE FOR TEA PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable uniform drying of steamed tea leaf while preventing the clipping and cutting of the leaf by using a scraping hand bent in a specific state and attached to the tip end of a stirring arm rotating relative to a stationary drum. ;SOLUTION: A scraping hand 3 at the tip end of a stirring arm 4 rotating relative to a stationary drum 10 is bent in the direction of rotation to form a rake angle to the steamed leaf 8 discharged from a steaming machine and the overfalling of the hand is prevented by a stopper 6. The machine enables easy scraping of the steamed leaf 8 without causing the forced biting of the steamed leaf between the tip end of the scraping hand 3 and the stationary drum 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
