PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture-curing one-component coating material having equivalent viscosity during application and surface-protecting effect to those of known coating materials even without addn. thereto of a volatile lacquer solvent by blending an isocyanate component contg. a specific arom. polyisocyanate with a plasticizer and/or a high-boiling solvent. ;SOLUTION: A binder in the form of a polyisocyanate component comprising 100 pts.wt. diphenylmethane polyisocyanate (mixture) (A) contg. 20-23wt.% carbodiimide and/or ureido group-modified NCO groups and 40-150 pts.wt. NCO prepolymer (B) obtd. by reacting an NCO-contg. arom. polyisocyanate (a) with less than the stoichiometric amt. of a polyhydroxyl component (b) comprising a polyol of 134 to 6,000 in no.-average mol.wt. contg. ether, ester or like bonds and a monohydric to hexahydric alcohol of 32 to 300 in mol.wt. is blended with a non- (or difficultly) hydrolyzable plasticizer (c) higher than 150°C in flash point and/or a high-boiling solvent higher than 120°C in flash point and higher than 230°C in b.p. to obtain a moisture-curing one-component coating material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
