PURPOSE: To produce a stick for sweetfish fishing also useful as a hanger, playing both parts as a stick for crossing a river on foot as safely as possible and as a hanger for preventing a sweetfish fishing rod from being damaged, excellent in processability and durability at a low cost. ;CONSTITUTION: This stick for sweetfish fishing also useful as a hanger is equipped with a metal pole 2, a stone thrust 3 stuck to the lower part of the pole 2, a latching groove 10 formed at the top of the pole 2, a fishing rod hanging part 7 and a fish basket hanging part 9 which are made of a wire 6 in a chevroned state and bent into circular arc states, a grip 5 into which the pole 2 is inserted and two longitudinal grooves 12 formed in the interior of the grip 5.
