PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic underwater line suitable for sweetfish decoy fishing and provide a fishing method by a sweetfish decoy-fishing device using this underwater line.;SOLUTION: An underwater line 30 of the present invention is used for a sweetfish decoy-fishing device 1 including a top line 10, an underwater line 30 and a nose-through circumference 50. The underwater line 30 is the twisted lines comprising multiple metallic lines, and a diameter is 0.078-0.094 mm and a specific gravity is 6-9. Preferably, the length of the underwater line 30 may be 300-400 mm when a full length of the decoy-fishing device 1 is 8-10 m. Preferably, the twisted line may be formed by twisting 6-8 lines.
