FORWARD CLEARANCE ADJUSTING DEVICE OF SHEAR DIE IN FORMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply adjust the clearance between a shear die and a cutter die in a one-stage or multi-stage hornet. ;SOLUTION: A guide bush 35 is screwed in an advancing/retracting manner along the center axis to/from a guide holder 33 arranged rearward of a shear die holder 23 to hold a shear die 7 on its axis with the prescribed intervals. A forward end face of the bush 35 is abutted on a rear end face of the shear die holder 33, a first gear 36 is fixed to its outer circumferential part concentric with the bush 35, a second gear 42 to be engaged with the gear 36 is rotated to drive the first gear 36, the guide bush 35 is advanced/retracted to advance/ retract the shear die holder 23. The clearance (e) between the shear die 7 and a cutter die 8 is adjusted by changing the position of the front end face of the shear die 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
