INKING ARRANGEMENT FOR OFFSET PRESS AND INKING/DAMPING METHOD TO PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the damping and inking of a printing plate excellent by using a first form roller as an inking/damping roller to also connect the same to a damping device and a plurality of driven ink rubbing cylinders and driving the inking/damping roller so that the peripheral speed thereof is different from that of a plate cylinder. ;SOLUTION: The first form roller continued to a blanket cylinder 2 in the rotary direction of a plate cylinder functions as an inking/damping roller 5. This first inking/damping rollers 5 comes into contact with a first ink rubbing cylinder 6 to be connected to a second ink rubbing cylinder 8 through an ink roller 7. Further, a water rubbing cylinder 17 is brought into contact with the inking/damping roller 5 to be connected to the water fountain roller 19 immersed in a water sump 18. The driving of the ink rubbing cylinder 6 is performed from the plate cylinder 1 through gears and the peripheral speed of the cylinder 6 is made different from that of the plate cylinder 1 and the peripheral speed of the inking/damping roller 5 is adjusted so as to be made different from that of the plate cylinder 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
