PILE TYPE UNDERWATER STEEL PIPE PILE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater structure steel pile and its construction method capable of troubleshooting many complicated construction troubles without using a sleeve into which a joint material must be filled up. ;SOLUTION: A pile type underwater structure steel pile 1a and a pile body are reinforced at one location or at a plurality of locations. One through hole or at least two through holes, which allow a wire cable 29 to run across the pile from one pipe wall through the other pipe wall, are provided in the reinforced locations. A pair of steel pipe piles 1a and 1b are driven so that the axis of their through holes may be lined up basically on a straight line. The wire cable 29 is fixedly spanned between the paired steel pipe piles 1a and 1b by way of the through holes. Then, the head of the piles is combined with a coupling member.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
