PRODUCTION OF PROCESSED RICE FOR CHAZUKE AND APPARATUS FOR HEATING RICE WITH MICRO WAVE

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing processed rice for CHAZUKE (boiled rice with tea poured on it), capable of tastily eating without impairing taste by only pouring hot water and convenient wholly automatic microwave heater used for the producing method. ;CONSTITUTION: This method for producing processed rice for CHAZUKE comprises washing mixed rice of plural brands with water, immersing the rice into water to control the water content of the rice to about 32-33wt.%, further, irradiating the mixed rice with microwave, re-immersing the rice into water, draining the rice from water and boiling the rice with hot water to control the water content of the rice to about 60wt.%. This apparatus for heating the rice with microwave is equipped with a heating oven 25 to which many microwave oscillators 26 are attached, a conveyer 24 for carrying many rice- carrying trays 34 covered with heating covers 33 and passing through the interior of the heating oven 25 and a heating cover-carrying means 32 for removing the heating cover 33 from the rice-carrying tray near the outside of the outlet of the heating oven 25, carrying the heating cover until this side of the inlet of the heating oven 25 and covering the cover onto the rice-carrying tray 34.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
