PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decarburization heat-raising method by preheating solid raw material, melting by electric conduction and blowing oxygen for improving the productivity to save the electric power, in the mixing operation of the solid raw material and molten iron in an electric furnace. SOLUTION: (1) One furnace A in one electric source-two furnace, executes the melting of electric conduction and at the same time, the other furnace B completes the electric conduction and executes the decarburization heat-raising by blowing the oxygen to repeatedly execute the melting by electric conduction and the decarburization heat-raising by blowing the oxygen mutually in the furnaces A and B. (2) The high temp. combustion gas of the furnace B caused during the decarburization heat-raising by blowing the oxygen, is introduced into the furnace A during waiting the electric conduction after completing the charging of the solid raw material or during melting of electric conduction and the solid raw material is preheated or its melting is promoted.
