PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the epoch-making Heisei-era chord KOTO (Japanese harp) which enables even one player to play a melody while inputting chords, plays five parts of the upper and lower registers, harmony, chords, and bass of the melody, and produces a splendid harmony like a guitar-and-harp mixed harmony as a timbre. SOLUTION: Over frets 2 and a bridge 3 on the top surface of a chord KOTO main body 1, this KOTO has one tenor string (chord D and interval D) 4 for bass string tuning, one alto string (code G and interval G) 5 for chord and melody string tuning, one alto string (chord B and interval B) 6 for chord string tuning, one alto string (chord D and interval D) for chord string tuning which is one octave higher than the tenor string (chord D and interval D) 4, and one one octave higher than the alto string (chord G and interval G).
