PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable complete corrosion protection of an object to be protected in a high resistance environment by increasing the effective potential difference of an anodic protection and accordingly, enhancing the corrosion-protective current. ;SOLUTION: In this method, an anodic protection cell 1 comprises an auxiliary sacrificial anode 2 and an auxiliary cathode 3 and is placed in an environment 4. At this time, when the environmental resistance between the sacrificial anode of the cell 1 and an object to be protected 41 is such a high value that the corrosion- protective current is insufficient, a combination of the auxiliary sacrificial anode 2 and the auxiliary cathode 3 having nobler potential than the anode 2 is placed under water or in the soil in the vicinity of the object 41. Then, the voltage between the anode 2 and the cathode 3 is increased or decreased with a switching type DC-DC converter 5 to obtain an optional output voltage value. The DC voltage thus obtained is applied between the anode 2 and the object 41 and the effective potential difference of the anode 2 is increased and accordingly, the corrosion-protective current is enhanced to completely protect the object 41 from corrosion.
