PURPOSE: To obtain a polymeric liquid crystal copolymer compound highly soluble in low-boiling solvents and halogen-free solvents and desirably used to form a large-area optoelectronic material by specifying its structure. ;CONSTITUTION: This polymeric liquid crystal copolymer compound comprises repeating units represented by formula I (wherein U1 is a polymer chain, and n1 is 0-20) or comprises repeating units represented by formula II (wherein U2 is a polymer chain; V is -(CH2)n2-, -(CH2)n2-A- or -(CH2)n2-O-A- (wherein A is an aromatic ring or an alicyclic ring; and n is 0-20). Examples of U1 in formula I and U2 in formula II include structures of formula III (wherein R is H, an alkyl, a halogen or a phenyl).
