CONNECTION STRUCTURE AND CONNECTION METAL MEMBER OF COLUMN BASE IN WOODEN FRAMEWORK

PURPOSE: To increase the strength against pulling force, by fixing the bottom of a metal member body to an anchor bolt projected from a sill and inserting a pair of vertical pieces of the metal member body into slits provided on the lower end face of a column to fix the metal member body and the column together with a fixing member. ;CONSTITUTION: The bottom 2 of a metal member body 1 shaped to make a U-shaped form in side view is fixed to an anchor bolt 16 projected from a sill 12. A pair of parallel vertical pieces 4, 4 of the metal member body 1 are inserted in slits 7 formed at the lower end face of a column 6 to fix the metal member body 1 and the column 6 together by drift pins 8 inserted from the side face of column 6. In this way, the pulling force acting on the column 6 is transmitted to the anchor bolt 16 side by the metal tool body 1 and the drift pins 8 and hence, the strength against a pulling force can be increased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
