PURPOSE: To reduce a crack by a temperature of mass concrete at low cost. ;CONSTITUTION: Predetermined heat-insulating materials 2 are disposed adjacent to side sections brought into contact with the outside air after placing in the side sections in a placing region 1, in which mass concrete is formed first, in the temperature crack preventive method of mass concrete. A normal concrete, to which an expansion agent is not added, is placed in a section 4 excepting an uppermost layer in the placing region 1, and an expansive concrete, to which a specified expansion agent is added, is placed to the uppermost layer 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
