PURPOSE: To automatically generate the dynamic model to be analyzed when an analysis is taken by using the finite element method by utilizing symmetry. ;CONSTITUTION: A graphic symmetry decision and symmetrical line position determination part 13 decides the symmetry of an input model on a graphic on the basis of the array of direction list in graphic data on the input model and determines the position of a symmetrical line. A graphic division part 15 divides the graphic of the input model at the position of the symmetrical line. A load symmetry decision part 17 decides the symmetry of a load regarding the symmetrical line and a restraint symmetry decision part 18 decides the symmetry of restraint regarding the symmetrical line. A main program operation part 11 divides the input model along the symmetrical line which satisfies all of the symmetry on the graphic, the symmetry of the load, and the symmetry of the restraint to generate the dynamic model to be analyzed when the analysis is taken by using the finite element method, so that it is displayed on a display device 23 by a graphic display part 19.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
