摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a member for changing single optical fiber tapes to multiple optical fiber cable designed to arrange optical fibers at the short spacing nearly equal to the inter-center spacing of the optical fibers of multiple fiber cable while imparting rigidity to the optical fiber tapes and a connector. ;CONSTITUTION: The plural single optical fiber tapes 1 are laminated by superposing the respective tape surfaces on each other at a lamination part 2 side and are discretely separated in a single fiber tapes part 3. The single fiber tapes 1 are formed to a tape shape by coating the optical fibers 6 with tape coatings 7. The thickness of the single optical fiber tapes 1 is made into nearly the same length as the outside diameter of the coated optical fibers 6 by the tape coatings 7 and the width of the single optical fiber tape 1 is longer than the thickness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
