PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the kinds of heat insulating panel of special specification to facilitate the mounting work in a narrow work space thereby to improve work efficiency by sealingly closing a gap between a heat insulating panel covering the outer surface of a low temperature freight tank and a heat insulating panel on the inner surface side of a skirt using a movable joint panel. ;SOLUTION: There is formed an annular gap between a heat insulating panel 5 covering the outer surface of a low temperature freight tank 1 and inner surface side heat insulating panels 7, 9 of heat insulating panels 6, 7, 9 covering the inner and outer surfaces of a skirt 2. And in the gap, there are provided hard heat insulating parts similar to the panels 5, 6, 7, 9 and soft heat insulating parts which are distributed so as to reduce compensation for displacement of the hard parts, which parts are integrally molded, in which they are fitted to each other so as to be joined, and the panel 5 and the panels 7, 9 are sealingly closed by means of a movable joint panel 8 which is prepared by fitting and joining heat insulating materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
