PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a high-mount stop lamp body so as not to press rear glass with such pressing force as to cause glass lifting failure even if a body is oscillated. ;SOLUTION: A tongue piece 21 is extendedly formed at a body 15 of a high- mount stop lamp 4. The body 15 is positioned with a slight clearance so that its peripheral edge part 15c does not come in contact with rear door glass 3 by insert structure of inserting the tongue piece 21 into a through hole 14 formed by a rear door inner 5 and a bracket 8. The body 15 is fixed at its support bottom part 22 to the bracket 8 by the fastening of two bolts 24. Since there is no bending at other parts by the insert structure of the tongue piece 21, even if a body is oscillated on a production line, the body 15 does not press rear door glass 3 in a period when ceramic sealant 7 is not completely solidified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
