PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measuring precision of blood data, in such a measurement of the living body data that light is made incident on the body surface so as to detect the diffusion, transmission and reflection of the light, by providing a mechanism for maintaining a negative pressure in a space inside a container with its opening attached closely to the body surface. SOLUTION: After a tool 6 is attached closely to a surface 7 of the living body, a space 9 between the body surface 7 and a support 8 is maintained in a negative pressure by the action of a pump 10. The body surface 7 is thereby sucked into the tool 6 so as to fix a part to be measured against a laser 2 and a photodiode 4. Upon completion of this fixing, when starting the output of the laser 2 by driving a power source 12, laser beams are made into light flux through a lens 3 and emitted into the living body. The light so emitted is diffused, absorbed and reflected in the epidermis 13, the corium 14 or skin blood vessels. The reflected light from the corium 14 is selectively passed through a slit 5 and received in the photodiode 4, and the blood data is measured by an arithmetic part 17 based on the received light signal.
