PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an object to be cooked from being damaged by a heat shielding plate turned along with a heating plate. ;SOLUTION: This broiled food cooking device is provided with a main body case 1, a mounting plate 2 installed on the upper surface of the main body case 1 for mounting the object to be cooked, the heating plate 3 installed switchtably and turnably between a facing position facing the mounting plate 2 and a separated position separated from the mounting plate 2 from the facing position by forming a clearance corresponding to the thickness of the object to be cooked at the upper part of the mounting plate 2 for which at least a lower surface among both upper and lower surfaces is turned to a heating surface, and the heat shielding plate 4 attached to at least a part of the peripheral edge part of the heating plate 3 for suppressing heat from flowing out from the clearance around the mounting plate 2 and the heating plate 3 at the facing position. Further, the mounting plate 2 is provided with a control frame 6 for controlling the mounting position of the object to be cooked mounted to the mounting plate 2 to the inner side of the heat shielding plate 4 beforehand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
