PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat food from both upper and lower surfaces only by a gas burner arranged on the upper surface of a cooking chamber, to efficiently utilize the holding heat of the combustion gas of the gas burner and to radially heat the food from the entire periphery. ;SOLUTION: On the ceiling surface of the cooking chamber 1, a heat radiation plate 2 composed of a metal plate provided with a ceramic coating layer and the gas burner 3 for forming a flame inside a combustion chamber 4 at the back part of the heat radiation plate are disposed. Also, a straightening plate 7 provided with many ventilation holes 8 at a prescribed perforation rate is disposed so as to partition the cooking chamber at the lower part of a gridiron 5, a hot blast passage 6 communicated to the combustion chamber is formed along a cooking chamber side face, the lower end is opened to a space part at the lower part of the straightening plate and the combustion gas of the gas burner 3 passes through the hot blast passage and the ventilation holes of the straightening plate and heats the food on the gridiron from a lower surface. Also, the inner side wall surface of the hot blast passage and the straightening plate are constituted of the metal plate provided with the ceramic coating layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
