PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device of muddy water of which construction is simple, miniaturization and weight reduction are easy, transportation is easy, the installation space is enough to be small, and possibility of a trouble is little, and a separation method of muddy water suitable to the natural law using the device. ;SOLUTION: A filter 5 is provided on the bottom plate 4a or the side plate of an inside vessel 4 capable of being inserted in an outside vessel 1. Muddy water 2 containing earth, sand, gravel, and the like 2a is fed into the outside vessel 1 in which the inside vessel 4 is inserted, the earth sand, gravel, and the like 2a are settled in the outside vessel 1, and simultaneously water 2b passed through the filter 5 is collected in the inside vessel 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
