PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, which can prevent the generation of eddy of the air over a wide range in a paper sheet carrying device for paper sheet working machine so as to stabilize the carrying of paper sheet in the device without requiring the auxiliary energy and an auxiliary guide device. ;SOLUTION: Holding systems 4, 5 for holding a front end of a paper sheet 6 are operated with a constant interval from a corresponding other mechanical part 8, and in a paper sheet carrying device for paper sheet working machine, in which the holding systems 4, 5 surrounds a space over the whole of the paper sheet width with the mechanical part 8, a clearance between the holding systems 4, 5 and the mechanical part 8 is sufficiently filled by a means 10, which is formed in the holding systems 4, 5 so as to stabilize the paper sheet 6, which is partially floated for guide. Generation of eddy of the air under the paper sheet 6 to be carried is thereby prevented with the simple method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
