PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator for gas-insulated equipment where breakdown voltage is improved by making constant the voltage assignment rate of an insulator creeping. ;SOLUTION: A resistance layer 6 where resistance per fine unit length in the direction of a grounding tank 1 from a conductor 2 is provided on the surface of an insulation spacer 3 for subdivision and the voltage assignment rate of the creeping of an insulator for gas-insulated equipment in the direction of the grounding tank 1 from the conductor 2 is made constant. As a result, the voltage assignment rate of the creeping of the insulator used for the gas- insulated equipment is made constant, thus improving insulation performance and hence improving the insulation reliability of the equipment and miniaturizing and making light the equipment.
