LENS HOUSING AND PUSHING-OUT DEVICE FOR LIQUID-CRYSTAL PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens housing and extruding device for a liquid crystal projector which is simple to operate, allows the attainment of shorter optical route and smaller liquid crystal projector, is thereby made small in size, light in weight and convenient to carry and is capable of protecting a lens when not in use. SOLUTION: This device has a stationary member 1 which has guide grooves, an oscillating member 2 which is oscillatable within a perpendicular plane around the stationary axial center of this stationary member 1, a lens holding member 3 which holds the lens 6, is oscillatable within the perpendicular plane around the moving axial center of this oscillating member 2 and guides the housing and ejecting actions of respective guide pins by moving of these guide pins within the guide grooves, a latching means 4 which selectively locks this lens holding member 3 in a complete housing position or release the lens holding member 3 and pushes out the member to the outside of the shell of the liquid crystal projector so as to make the projector usable and a pressing means 5 which pushes out the lens holding member 3 by elastic force after the lens holding member 3 is released.
