PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular timer which can easily be installed at a standard electric box of wall hanging type and is configured flexibly so as to be capable of working in compliance with a single type and a multi-gang electric box. ;SOLUTION: A timer switch 10 to be installed on the wall is arranged as mounted in a standard single type and multi-gang electric connector box and includes an expansion housing 12 having an electric timer circuit 22, wherein the expansion housing 12 includes the first and the second unfinished edge 18, 20. Each edge 18, 20 partitions an expansive coupling surface expanding along the length. The expansive coupling surface receives an associate end termination element 38 having at least one corresponding expansive coupling surface to be in coupling with one of the coupling surfaces of the first and the second unfinished edge 18, 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
