PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain cloth giving a metallic texture and new decorativeness by coating the surface of a resin film bonded to the surface of cloth with a metal coating material and a rusting agent and forming a decorative pattern by pressing a mold. ;SOLUTION: A urethane resin film 14 is thermally stuck to the surface of cloth 12 by contact bonding. The surface of the film 14 is coated with a metal coating material containing iron powder. The coated surface is further coated with an aqueous solution of a rusting agent such as ammonium chloride, etc. A mold for forming a decorative pattern is pressed to the film to form a decorative pattern 30 on the film 14. Then the film subjected to a protecting processing 26 by spraying a resin solution to form a resin film to give cloth having a decorative pattern by rust.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
