On-board structure null of in tank type fuel

PURPOSE:To reduce the production cost by providing elastically deformable plastic claws at the bottom of a sub-tank storing the fuel so as to cover the lower section of a pump. CONSTITUTION:A pump 2 feeding the fuel by pressure to the outside is arranged in a fuel tank 1. This pump 2 is mounted in the fuel tank 1 by an assembly combined with a bracket 3 and a sub-tank 4. The sub-tank 4 is a container covering the lower section of the pump 2 and storing the fuel sucked by the pump 2, and it is made of plastic. Multiple plastic (e.g., polyacetal) claws 24 are formed integrally with the sub-tank 4 at the bottom of the sub-tank 4. When the sub-tank 4 is vibrated, the claws 24 are elastically deformed, thus the vibration of the sub-tank 4 is not transmitted to the fuel tank 1. The production cost can be suppressed low as compared with the conventional one using rubber for a damping material.
