PURPOSE: To improve the sewing strength of clothes and to secure the luxurious feeling of sewing quality by setting double stitched seam by a lock stitch sewing machine as sewing specifications at the respective parts of the clothes. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of sewing the clothes, after performing the plain seam of the clothes by the lock stitch sewing machine once, the plain seam is performed again by the lock stitch sewing machine on the line of the plain seam at the first time. As the objects of such double stitched seam by the lock stitch sewing machine, it is applied to the side seam of the clothes, back center seam, undersleeve seam, sleeve cap seam, seat and side seam and arm hole seam, etc. For instance, at the outlet seam 2 of cloth on the back side 1 of the cloth, respective needle locations at the first time and the second time respectively indicated by white dots and black dots are arranged along the single plain seam line 5.
