PURPOSE: To provide a reagent and a method for measuring content of fructosamine in blood sample or sample induced from blood. ;CONSTITUTION: A set of this reagent includes two sorts of stable liquid reagents which are immediately usable, the first liquid reagent includes a discoloring reagent which has an almost neutral pH, and which is reduced by fructosamine under the condition of alkaline pH to be discolored, a reagent to eliminate non-specific reduction components and/or turbidity inducing components in sample, and contains other regular use additives if necessary, and the second liquid reagent contains a basic buffer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
