PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for preventing a planted missing seedling from occurring in a rice transplanter having a new structure so as to prevent a missing plant phenomenon from occurring in a seedling after mechanical planting thereof in relation to an apparatus for preventing the planted missing seedling from occurring capable of being preassembled even in a rice transplanter in a factory shipping stage or assembled in an already produced rice transplanter. ;CONSTITUTION: This apparatus for preventing a planted missing seedling from occurring is obtained by installing a pair of mud gathering pieces 2 and 2 in an inverted chevron shape arranged in a plane at a position where trouble is not caused in operations of planting pawls M1 of a float F in a rice transplanter so as to shift the two pieces in the front and rear, attaching the pair of mud gathering pieces 2 and 2 to shaking rods 3 capable of freely shaking in the vertical directions and forming the pair of the mud gathering pieces 2 and 2 and shaking rods 3 into a structure enabling the passage thereof in a biting state into the mud near both sides of the root of each seedling P planted into the mud by own weights of the pair of the mud gathering pieces 2 and 2 and shaking rods 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
