PURPOSE:To surely separate and recover molding sand in molds having different deteriorating degrees without any mixing by enabling separation and conveying in accordance with necessity in plural molds conveyed under joining state at the time of continuously casting the different kinds of castings in a vertical type flaskless casting line. CONSTITUTION:In the case a first mold D and a second mold E, which molten metal is cast into the different cavities d1 and e1 are conveyed with a first conveyor 2 under joining state in the vertical type flaskless casting line 1, the first mold D forming a half of the cavity d1 at one side and a half of the cavity e1 at the opposite side in each mold, is cut with a mold cutting device 21 arranged in the first conveyor 2, to separate the casting cast in the cavities d1 and e1. Successively, the one side of second mold E, which is cut, is pulled with a mold pulling device 36 in a second conveyor 26 below the first conveyor 2 to separate from the mold D conveyed with the first conveyor 2, and by conveying with the second conveyor 26, two kinds of molding sands having different deteriorating condition caused by difference of kind of the castings are separated and recovered without any mixing the molding sands.
