PURPOSE:To develop an Al alloy clad plate material having excellent crevice corrosion resistance by forming the Al alloy contg. small amt. of Mn into a core and forming the Al alloy contg. Al or small amounts of Zn, Mg, etc., into a skin material. CONSTITUTION:In the production of the titled material, the Al alloy plate contg. at least 0.1-1.5wt.% Mn is used as the core of the clad material. The Al plate material which is electrically base compared to the core and contg., as inevitable impurities, 0.25wt.% Fe, 0.15wt.% Si and 0.05wt.% Cu or the Al alloy plate contg., as alloy components, either or both of 0.1-0.5wt.% Zn and 0.1-0.5wt.% Mg and contg., as inevitable impurities, Fe, Si and Cu in the above-mentioned range is used as the skin material. The core and skin material are clad and rolled, by which the Al alloy clad plate material having excellent crevice corrosion resistance is produced.
