PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel having excellent pitting corrosion resistance in a crevice portion (crevice corrosion resistance) and excellent formability.;SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel having the excellent crevice corrosion resistance and excellent formability comprises, by mass%, 0.001 to 0.02% C, 0.001 to 0.02% N, 0.01 to 1% Si, 0.05 to 1% Mn, 0.04% or less P, 0.01% or less S, 0.15 to 3% Ni, 11 to 22% Cr, 0.5 to 3% Mo, 0.01 to 0.5% Ti, more than 0.1% but 1% or less Al, further Cr, Ni, Mo and Al within a range satisfying the following expressions (A) and (B): (A) Cr+3Mo+6Ni≥23 and (B) Al/Nb≥10, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities. The ferritic stainless steel preferably includes one or more elements among Cu, V, Ca, Mg and B in place of a part of Fe.
